Texas Junior High Rodeo Association Announces 2016 Election of Officers

Bailey Gubert Throws her Hat in the Ring for 2016 President of TJHRA Region 7

East Bernard, TX – Bailey Gubert, daughter of Jay and Janet Gubert of East Bernard, Texas, recently announced to her parents that she was running for President of The Texas Junior High Rodeo Association (TJHRA), Region 7.

The TJHRA operates under the guidelines of the Texas High School Rodeo Association. Their mission is to offer kids in grades 6th – 8th a chance to be competitive student athletes at the highest level of competition in their region, the state of Texas and on a national level for championships and thousands of dollars in scholarships.

This organization helps to prepare these young athletes for the next level of rodeo. The Texas Junior High Rodeo Association is a family orientated organization which encourages scholastic achievement through the high standards it holds for its members as students in the classroom and sportsmen in the arena.

Bailey Gubert is the daughter of Jay and Janet Gubert of East Bernard, long time members of the Texas agriculture community. Bailey is a 4th generation cowgirl with a passion for rodeo. She strives to be a great competitor and supporter of fellow contestants. Bailey is also a member of the Junior High National Honor Society.

I love this sport, rodeo is my passion.  There is so much to learn from the sport of Rodeo: sportsmanship, education, responsibility and determination. I want to represent Texas and achieve the goals that have been set for TJHRA. The organization promotes the participation of contestants and I want to help make a difference.
